Course objectives:
The aim is to provide participants with adequate knowledge and skills in the field of nutrition and eating disorders and in the therapeutic rehabilitation treatment necessary to take care of them. The issues of fatphobic society and the cultural assumptions that lead to the development of DAN will be addressed. Clinical skills will be provided for diagnosis along the continuum from developmental problem to full-blown pathology and the tools will be provided to correctly interpret differential diagnoses and comorbid disorders. Ample space will then be given to all the rehabilitation interventions that can be implemented in the different reference contexts from home care to outpatient interventions and possible interventions with special populations.
